Mexico 68 Poster

Poster design created with code. The shapes that make up the 68 number change according to the volume levels of the original audio recording of the 1968 Tlatelolco massacre in Mexico City.

On October 2nd, 1968, the Mexican government opened fire and murdered hundreds of students who were protesting during the Olympics held in Mexico City. The event was silenced for decades, with the government claiming the students were the ones opening fire against the military. That was a lie. October 2, 1968 was one of many days the government has turned against its own people. The country can still relate.
